When school is out, Dynamite Days are in! If you're looking for a safe, fun-filled place for your child to go when they're off school but you still need to go to work, look no further! This full-day program is offered for grades Kindergarten through Sixth on most planned days out of school, excluding major holidays or cancellations due to weather (for complete list of dates, see below). Your child will enjoy enriching activities such as games, crafts, reading, open gym time, and much more!
Scheduled activities will be provided on full days off school from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, and on half days off school from 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Extended care is available on full days from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, and on half days from 11:30 am - 5:00 pm. Children must be picked up by 5:00 pm, or an additional $5 will be charged for every 15 minutes late.
Y Member Full Day = $25 per day, $15 per day for each additional sibling
Non-Member Full Day = $30 per day, $20 per day for each additional sibling
Y Member Half Day = $15 per day (no discount for additional children for half days)
Non-Member Half Day = $20 per day (no discount for additional children for half days)
Payment for the first day will be collected at time of registration. All other payments will be automatically deducted on the date of the program and must be set up to come from a checking/savings account or debit/credit card. If you'd prefer, you can pay for all dates up front in place of setting up the recurring payment.

* Indicates half day off from school. Transportation is available from the school, but you must be registered 48 hours in advance.
All children must arrive at Dynamite Days Out no later than 8:30 am on full days out, and 12:00 pm on half days out. State issued photo identification may be required to release a child. Extended care is available before and after the scheduled activities at no cost from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Children must be picked up by 5:00 pm, or an additional $5 will be charged for every 15 minutes late.
Please contact the Y by 9:30 am on the days your child will be absent from camp. It is important for us to know where your child is on days they are enrolled in the program. No refunds will be given due to non-attendance.
The health and safety of your child is a priority. If an illness or injury happens during the camp day, we will provide first aid as needed. Parents will be notified of minor injuries at the time of pick up. For more serious injuries, we will make every attempt to contact the parent or guardian using all numbers provided on the enrollment form. It may be necessary for you to pick up your child from camp. If an injury warrants, we will call emergency personnel and have the child taken to the nearest hospital. Please make sure to complete the medical questions on the registration form if your child should need specific medical assistance.
We expect all Summer Day Camp participants to behave according to our guidelines. All efforts will be made to guide children to appropriate behavior. If the behavior is not corrected, a communication form will be completed, and may require the signature of a parent/guardian. If the child continues to demonstrate the inappropriate behavior, he/she may be suspended for one day. If the behavior has still not improved, the child may be removed from the program for the remainder of its duration. The Y reserves the right to bypass the steps listed above and/or terminate a child’s enrollment if the child’s behavior poses a threat to the safety of himself or others. If a child is suspended or removed from the program, no refund will be given.
Sessions will be ran by the day. You can sign your child up for just a single day, or all school-year long! Sessions are offered according to the schedule on the front of this page, including full and half days off school. No refunds will be given due to non-attendance. Payment for the first day is due at time of registration. Payments for the remaining days must be automatically deducted from a bank account or debit/credit card on the date scheduled.
Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Please contact the Y for more information. You should allow five business days for your request to be processed.
Lunch is not provided. Please make sure to feed your child a nutritious breakfast, and send a lunch and drink with your child to give your child the energy he/she will need for the day. Refrigeration is not available, so food items need to either be non-perishable or kept cool in an insulated lunch sack. Microwaves and vending machines are not available. Afternoon snacks are provided.
The Y has volunteer opportunities available in many departments. Ask our staff to become part of the many volunteers that help make a difference in people’s lives each year. If you would like to volunteer, you must complete the volunteer application, background check, and necessary training. This needs to be completed prior to you volunteering. Parents will not be allowed to volunteer without having completed the necessary steps.
