CHILD WATCH

We offer a safe, nurturing environment with a focus on fun and development for kids from the ages of 1 year old through 9 years old. Offered during our peak times, Child Watch allows parents the opportunity to work out and participate in Y programs.

**Child Watch cost, duration, times, and program are subject to participation and its trends and can be reevaluated at any time**

PROGRAM TIMES

  • Child Watch is available Monday - Thursday evenings from 4pm-7:30pm.
  • During youth sports seasons, we may offer Child Watch on saturday's during game times.

PROGRAM COST

  • $5 per child, each visit.

CHILD WATCH POLICIES

  • Parents/guardians must have an active membership, current liability waiver, and pictures on file.

  • A parent or guardian is required to sign a child in and out of CW.  Please advise CW staff if the person signing the child out is going to be different than the person signing the child into CW.

  • Parents or guardians must remain on the premises at all times.

  • Infants and toddlers should be brought into CW with full stomachs, fresh diapers, and clean hands and faces.

  •
  • No snacks or meals will be provided. Snacks are permitted, but containers must be clearly labeled with the child’s name.  Please do not bring a meal, unless medically necessary.

  • If your child is still bottle feeding, we ask that you try to feed before or after their participation. If your child needs a bottle during their time in CW, a staff member will come get you.

  • Any child that is unable to use the restroom without assistance, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during that process.

  • No electronic devices should be brought to CW. You may bring outside educational materials. Exceptions may be made for homework or educational purposes.

  • Any medication that needs to be distributed must be handled by the parent or guardian.

  • Our staff is accustomed to comforting (and/or distracting) children.  If, however, they are still inconsolable after 10 minutes, the parent/guardian will be asked to return for the child.

  • A child may not participate in CW if any of the following symptoms have existed in the past 24 hours:
    • Fever, vomiting, or diarrhea
    • Any symptoms of mumps or chicken pox including any unexplained rash

    • Any skin infection
    • Yellow or green nasal discharge
    • Pink eye

    • *Children not well enough to attend school cannot attend CW.
